Coating Inspector

Introduction

We are looking for an experienced Coating Inspector to join a leading offshore fabrication yard for one of our clients in Vlissingen (Oost). You will work on offshore jackets and heavy steel structures, ensuring the quality of surface preparation and coating application in accordance with international standards.

About the role

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections on surface preparation, coating and painting activities.
• Conduct tests including DFT, adhesion, and holiday testing.
• Prepare clear inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Identify, record and follow up on non-conformities.
• Support maintenance and repair activities.
• Liaise closely with QA/QC, fabrication teams and client representatives.
• Ensure compliance with HSE guidelines.

Requirements:

• NACE, FROSIO or equivalent coating inspection certification.
• 3–5 years of experience in offshore jackets, heavy steel construction or industrial maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of coating materials and international standards.
• Detail-oriented with strong reporting skills.
• Safety-minded and proactive.
• Either English speaking or Dutch-speaking.
